Scouting Report: (3/25/2020) Daniel Greek possesses excellent height and frame with plenty of room to blossom into a physical presence within the pocket. He is not a dual-threat QB but is a good enough athlete to buy second chances and even take off and run if need be.

When watching him on film it is easy to see why Coach Leach has recruited him for several years. Daniel shows a good command of his scheme and makes decisive reads that show the ability to go from one target to the next. He anticipates well and shows a good feel for timing and when to flush or stand in and deliver the ball under duress.

Daniel is very consistent in his delivery methods and footwork and shows good, upright posture, stands and leads the strike zone. However, he needs to do a better job with weight transfer and not locking his front leg out on some intermediate throws.

Daniel has a fluid delivery and is very smooth in his methods. He can flick the ball with good zip and RPMs with little effort. He has a smooth release with the arm strength to make all of the throws necessary for the next level.

Daniel is flying under the radar to some degree in my opinion. He has the measurables and the arm talent with a high ceiling for development. He needs to tighten up his decision making as he threw an interception in eight of his 13 games last season but for the most part, is decisive and in control. If he is able to do that, he will receive his fourth star this season.
